GoT 2018 : Latest Hint On What To Expect On Release!

After Game of Thrones’ official account confirmed a 2019 release date for the show, Metro published an interview with Maisie Williams in which she appeared to say it will return in April 2019, after wrapping in December 2018.

In the interview, she reportedly said: “We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April [2019]. That’s a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes. There’s a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all.

We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities.”

Game of Thrones season 8 is almost here… well, not really. Fans of the most popular show in the world will have to wait until next year to catch the final season of the epic series, but each day does bring us one step closer to the conclusion.

The wait is welcomed by many, who know that after season 8 is done, a journey of almost a decade will leave fans feeling a major loss.

Although HBO is doing everything in their power to make sure no spoilers for the last season leak, one major plot point was accidentally leaked online by Wilf Scolding, who plays Rhaegar Targaryen.

Anyone who is caught up on the show knows that a big reveal is coming based on Jon Snow’s true heritage. Although his noble father shouldered the responsibility of keeping his parentage secret for all his life, Bran, and his powers as the Three-Eyed Raven, will finally lead Jon down the path of destiny. Last season, one flashback in particular helped propel the Rhaegar Targaryen + Lyanna Stark = Jon Snow rumors past speculation into reality. Now, Scolding has confirmed there will be more flashbacks. In an Instagram post, that was almost immediately deleted, Scolding confirms that more flashbacks are on the way.
